The two-masted lug-rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) being launched from the beach at Walmer, Kent.
A distant starboard bow view of the two-masted lug-rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) being launched from the beach at Walmer, Kent. She has her jib abd mizzen sails set and is being launched bow first. The photographer is in a boat offshore looking north-west towards the beach showing Deal Castle on the right. On the extreme left is the Adams family residence called "The Bungalow" on Marine Parade. The negative is very slightly out of focus. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B.
