An unidentified British seaside resort
An unidentified British seaside resort. The photographer is looking along the promenade which has octagonal shelters on it. There is a small drop from the paved promenade down to the shingle beach and the tide is out. A gaff rigged boat is drying sails above the tideline and other clinker built boats are drawn up to the top of the beach. A very short pier with a chequer board roof is at a bend in the promenade in the distance. Three to five storey buildings are on the right.
