Two cadets are on their hands and knees cleaning the bottom of the empty swimming pool whilst a third is cleaning the edge of the pool. There is a partial view of Mrs Joan Bird, wife of the photographer, and Mrs Yvonne Denholm, wife of the Chief Officer of the tanker, sitting on the wooden rail at the end of the pool. Two wooden deck chairs are visible in the background. This is Slide 34 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P.
