A slightly distant port side view of the motor tanker Ellenga (1960) sailing through the Luzon Strait, taken from on board the tanker Malwa (1961). The Ellenga is in ballast and her funnel is black with a white diamond and a black trident inside, indicating that she is managed by the same company as the Malwa. This is Slide 36 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Senior Second Officer and Navigator on board the tanker Malwa (1961), owned by the P&O Group, from 14 November 1963 to 9 March 1964. The lecture consists of 75 slides.
