The interior of the Gymnasium in the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich, London. Two vaulting horses and a parallel bars are set up on the floor and wooden rifles and cricket style bats are on a wall rack on the right. Two climbing ropes are in the right foreground. The side walls are decorated with arrangements of flag pikes and ornamental displays of rifles, swords, cutlasses, spears, other weapons, breast-plates and helmets.
