A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs.
A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs. She is on the port tack and Francis Norris Adams is at the helm. The sun is glinting on the water and a crew member is holding up the bottom of the sail. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B.
