A slightly distant starboard bow view of the lug rigged yacht Sandpiper (1899) by the water's edge at Walmer, Kent. She is broadside on to beach and is said to be near Walmer Castle. The sea is calm with no onshore waves. Francis Norris Adams is standing in the boat pushing an oar down into the shingle. Isabel Mary Adams is standing on the beach. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
