Franicis Norris Adams is standing in the boat. Isabel Mary, with Pauline on her left, is pulling on a rope attached to the boat's forefoot and Edgar Tarry Adams is pulling on the painter. An unknown boy is watching on the left. Deal Pier is in the background. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
