Two crewmen in the wheelhouse on board the tanker Malwa (1961). The photographer is standing on the port side of the wheelhouse looking to starboard. One crewman is dressed in a blue shirt and is standing by a forward facing window with a spray can of lubricant in his left hand while holding the window's upper lever with his right hand. The second crewman is stationed at the wheel but is almost completely hidden in the shadow. This is Slide 74 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Senior Second Officer and Navigator on board the tanker Malwa (1961), owned by the P&O Group, from 14 November 1963 to 9 March 1964. The lecture consists of 75 slides.
