A port broadside view of an unidentified brigantine at anchor in The Downs. She is drying her topsail and has some washing hanging on the mizzen mast stay. Two schooners and the coast at Deal are in the background. The negative was taken by Miss Dumaresq from one of the boats owned by Edgar Tarry Adams.
