A port side view, taken from just abaft the beam, of an unidentified salvage cutter alongside the wreck of the steamship Patria (1894) in The Downs. The top of her mast is out of the picture. The collapsed funnel of the Patria is on the right. The Patria was wrecked on 17 November 1899 after being abandoned heavily on fire and her wreck was blown up during July and August 1900. A note on the negative says the photographer was using Camera B.
