A bow view of the ketch rigged barge Dolgwandle (1891) under sail in The Downs, Kent. She has three headsails, a large square sail in place of the staysail, a mainsail, main topsail,a mizzen sail and a mizzen topsail set in light winds and is on the starboard tack. She is heading north and the cliffs of the South Foreland are in the right background. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B. Negatives numbers N19581 to N19584 were taken on the same occasion.
