The photographer is standing on the port side of the Marco Polo looking to port and aft. Two crewmen are standing on the starboard side of the bridge deck of Verrazano 1800. This is Slide 14 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Navigator on board the suction dredger Marco Polo (1979) owned by Jan De Nul from 11 February 1981 to 3 March 1981. The lecture consists of 23 slides.
