A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the French brigantine Marie Therese (1884) at anchor in The Downs. Her double topsails are loosely furled and her starboard anchor is deployed. Her dinghy is on a painter astern. The port of registry on her stern is Douarnenez but it is given as Nantes in Lloyd's Register. Sailing vessels are in the background.
