A slightly distant port quarter view of the Norwegian sailing vessel Varaldso (Fl. 1897) at anchor in The Downs. Her port anchor is deployed. She has a bowsprit and is single masted with a large square sail and a gaff sail. She is registered at Varaldso and her boat, normally carried under booms at the stern, is missing. A vertical format negative. Negative number N19639 was taken on the same occasion.
