A close view of the stem and forefoot of the passenger/cargo liner Adriatic (1906) in the Canada Graving Dock at Liverpool. The photographer is looking aft from the bottom of the dock at the end of the keel blocks. Both anchors and some of the anchor chains are laid out on the dock floor with a man adding scale to the image. The lower part of the hull is being repainted. Most of the ship is out of the picture. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers N19647 to N19651 were taken on the same occasion.
