A distant starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the steam collier F. E. Webb (1891) under way in The Downs.
A distant starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the steam collier F. E. Webb (1891) under way in The Downs. She is making smoke in a strong breeze and an awning is spread over the aft boom. Much of her hull is hidden by the sea swell. The negative is slightly out of focus and the horizon is not level. A note on the negative says that the photographer is using Camera B.
