A slightly distant port quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the cargo liner Halifax City (1894) under way in The Downs. She has a clipper bow and a spike bowsprit and has navigation light towers on her forecastle. Her hull is partly hidden by the sea swell. Negatives numbers N19756 to N19758 were taken on the same occasion.
