Passengers boarding the passenger excursion steamer Koh-i-noor (1892) from the lower landing stage on Southend Pier, Essex. The photographer is at the back of the queue looking over the heads of the people in front of him. The port side of the ship, abreast the forefunnel, can be seen alongside the stage. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera B.
