Looking forward from the bridge of the container ship Seatrain Valley Forge (1978) while under way at sea. The ship is almost fully loaded and includes refrigerated containers, with the numbers 'STLU' and 6 digit numbers beginning with 330, which are stacked amidships. The forward navigation light mast of the vessel is in the background. The Seatrain Pacific Services is printed on the side of some of the containers. This is Slide 8 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Relief Second Officer on board the container ship Seatrain Valley Forge (1978) owned by Marejet Bereiderung GMBH & Co. from 23 November 1979 to 7 February 1980. The lecture consists of 25 slides.
