A distant stern view, taken from fine off the starboard quarter, of the Cunard passenger/cargo liner Saxonia (1900) berthed in the Huskisson No. 1 Branch Dock at Liverpool. She is berthed port side to the wharf on the left of the picture. At the far end of the dock alongside the Cunard Shed is either Campania (1893) or Lucania (1893). The two ships berthed starboard side to the wharf on the right of the picture have not been identified but the nearest one has a troopship number on the port side of the hull, possibly indicating a 1900-1902 date. Some Mersey steam flats are on the left.
