A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of an unidentified general cargo ship under way heading south in The Downs. The ship is laden and has two masts and a single funnel. She has a clipper bow with a bow scroll, a raised forecastle, a flush deck and awning bars rigged aft. The name on her bow consists of six letters but it is not quite legible. Negative number N19857 is a port quarter view of the same vessel taken on the same occasion.
