The Hong Kong International Terminals Limited container terminal at Kowloon, taken from on board the container ship Seatrain Valley Forge (1978) which is berthed alongside. The photographer is on the port side of the ship's bridge looking to port. Many stacks of containers, two large straddle carriers, a lighting pylon and a large storage building are in the terminal. Numerous high-rise buildings and hills are in the background. This is Slide 25 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Relief Second Officer on board the container ship Seatrain Valley Forge (1978) owned by Marejet Bereiderung GMBH & Co. from 23 November 1979 to 7 February 1980. The lecture consists of 25 slides.
