A starboard bow view of the passenger/cargo liner Minnewaska (1909) working cargo in Tilbury Docks, Essex. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay and is working a cargo of wooden barrels and wooden packing cases, using her own derricks. Wooden boards are propped up against her hull in way of the holds. Crane No. 18 is on the left. Barrels are stacked on the quayside close to the ship. The ship's stem and the top of her foremast are out of the picture. A vertical format negative.
