A starboard broadside view of a Port Line Ltd cargo liner under way in The Downs. She is either the Port Lincoln (1912) or her sister ship Port Macquarie (1912). In the left background is the stern of the Royal Navy battleship St. Vincent (1908) and on the right is the bow of the Royal Navy battleship Superb (1907). They are at anchor and both have an awning rigged aft.
