Looking forward over the starboard bulwark from abaft the wheelhouse on board the motor tug Halaib (1980) at sea on her delivery voyage from Germany to Sudan. The Halaib is moving through the water at speed causing a large bow wave (the photographer describes it on the mount of the photograph as "running with a bone in her mouth"). Two doors leading into the wheel house are open on the left and a temporary wooden breakwater is in place at the aft end of the foredeck.
