A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of an unidentified general cargo steamship under way in Sea Reach, River Thames. She is a single funnel, two mast vessel with a clipper bow and bowsprit. She has a small poop and a pair of boats are abreast the bridge with another pair abaft the funnel. She is flying a pilot flag and is passing the Chapman Light off Canvey Island, bound down. This steamer is also in negative number N19979. The photographer is on board a paddle excursion steamer and an hopper barge is in the background.
