Suez Canal pilot boat crewmen on board the motor tug Halaib (1980) heading south in the Suez Canal. The tug is on her delivery voyage from Germany to Sudan. The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the tug amidships, looking aft and slightly to starboard. One of the pilot boat's crew, wearing a grey jumper and white headgear, is sitting in the boat which has been hoisted out of the water and secured alongside the tug. A second pilot boat crewman is standing on the deck of the Halaib leaning on the bulwark and wearing blue jeans, a brown jumper and a blue knitted hat which is covered by a check patterned turban. The third pilot boat crewman is standing behind the second on the deck of the Halaib and is looking at the photographer. He is wearing a green jumper, dark blue headgear and carrying a coat. A fourth man, dressed in a beige jumper with blue trousers, is sitting at the stern of the tug . Numerous unidentified vessels are berthed along the west bank of the canal. This is Slide 16 of a lecture titled "World Wide Ship Delivery" given by Captain Henry P.
