Four Suez Canal pilot boat crewmen on board the motor tug Halaib (1980) heading south in the Suez Canal. The tug is on her delivery voyage from Germany to Sudan. The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the tug amidships, looking aft and slightly to starboard. One of the pilot boat's crew is sitting in the boat which has been hoisted out of the water and secured alongside the tug. The other three pilot boat crew are on the Halaib on the right hand side.
