A starboard bow view of a fully rigged model of a 1st Rate ship of war.
A starboard bow view of a fully rigged model of a 1st Rate ship of war. It is a scratch built model, not representing any particular ship, and has a very unusual, exceptionally long and steeply angled bowsprit which is as high as the topsail yards of the fore and main masts. It is standing on a wooden base and is against a blanket backdrop. The emulsion is damaged and is lifting on the right hand side. Negative number P51836 is another view of this model.
