The presenter and the sound man of a film crew working in the abandoned No. 1 Smithery in Chatham Dockyard. The presenter, believed to be Fred Beckwith, chief foreman of the smiths, is holding a photograph and behind him is the sound man, with his microphone and a sound equipment trolley. The camera repeater screen is on a four-wheeled trolley on the right. They are in the north-west side of the building.
