A film crew making a video of metal items being treated in the tank in the zinc galvanising shop in Number 1 Boiler Shop in Chatham Dockyard. Six metal spikes suspended from hooks have been completely immersed in the liquid zinc. A man is pushing a pierced paddel across the top of the tank while another man is holding the controls of the electric overhead traveller. Two of the film crew, one on either side of the tank, are holding floodlights to facilitate the filming. The photographer is looking across the tank.
