One of the film crew sitting on a box on the bending slab in the spring making workshop in Number 5 Machine Shop in Chatham Dockyard. He has a large envelope and notepad in his right hand, a large black bag is over his left shoulder and a camera case strap is over his right shoulder. At his feet are a number of steel vices and anvils. A filing cabinet, tin box, broken tea chest and wooden holder of spring steel is by him. A hook and pulley is suspended near his head. Transparency number PCT3281 was taken on the same occasion.
