A stern view of the lighthouse and buoy tender Relume (1979) in a dry dock at the Ailsa Shipyard in Troon, Scotland. The photographer is standing on the top of the dock looking forward and down showing the twin propellers and rudders. Shipyard men are working on the propellers while two men with yellow hard hats and another with a blue hard hat are standing on the floor of the dry dock near a metal trestle looking up at the port propeller. The words "Relume London" are painted on the transom of the ship. Two men are on board the ship standing near the stern rails next to a general purpose windlass. Another man is standing near the port side ladder leading up to the poop deck. This is Slide 6 of a lecture titled "World Wide Ship Delivery" given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Chief Officer for the delivery of the lighthouse and buoy tender Relume (1979) owned by Middle East Navigation Aids Service from 3 May 1979 to 18 June 1979 and then Chief Officer for the delivery of the lighthouse and buoy tender Relume I (1952) owned by the same company to the ship breakers yard from 18 June 1979 to 30 June 1979.
