Looking down from an elevated position showing a partitioned rest area inside a large building, possibly No. 1 Boiler Shop, in Chatham Dockyard. The area is enclosed by steel partitions and on one the partitions is a large number of beermats, interspersed with pin-up pictures, a football poster and a Courage poster which reads "Enter the tumble and sink a yard of laugh and titter contest". There are two notices reading "Eye protection must be worn" A leather bench seat is on the left, a steel table is in the centre and a portable television is on a warm air heater on the right.
