A film crew working on the west side of Main Gate Road, north of Number 8 Slip, in Chatham Dockyard. The sound man has his back to the photographer and is standing by his equipment trolley. The cameraman, Pieter van der Merwe, is adjusting the lens of the JVC KV-2000 video camera which is mounted on a tripod. On the right, and with his back to the photographer, is the National Maritime Museum's Film Officer Philip A. Sugg. The Factory is in the left background and No. 1 Boiler Shop is in the right background. In the centre is the upper part of the Nuclear Office Building, with the hammerhead crane, sited between dry docks 6 and 7, behind it.
