An overhead view of part of a model of Chatham Dockyard as it existed in the mid 1700s. The large building on the left is the Smiths' Shop and Old Iron House. To the right are two coal pounds and the Painters' Shop. On either side are dry docks. In the right background is a storehouse and sawpits building and between it and the vacant dry dock is the Pitch House. Transparencies numbers PCT3428 to PCT3432 were taken on the same occasion.
