Shannon (1875)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the inboard profile, as fitted for the armoured cruiser Shannon (1875). The drawing bears the signatures of W. M Mitchell [Constructor at Chatham Dockyard 1872-1878] dated 13 August 1878 and J. Angear [Cheif Constructor at Devonport Dockyard 1883-1886] dated 30 August 1883. An Admiralty Chief Draughtsman, constructor's Departm,ent stamp dated 15 May 1878 is printed on the drawing. The signatures A. Miller anbd M. G. Moule with one other illegible signature and the date 28 August 1883 are written in the bottom left corner.
