A group of eight fishing people

This figure study shows a group of fishing people possibly negotiating a catch. Left of the centre two baskets are stacked on top of each other. On the far left, a man bends down to pick up a pair of seaboots. To the right, with a group of four men, a woman is carrying a flat basket on her head.
The unsigned drawing’s stylistic resemblance to drawings of similar subjects from the Milford Collection, now NMM, suggest a tentative attribution to Willem van de Velde, the Elder, and a date of about 1655.
The drawing has no watermark.
