Scale 1:192. Plan shows a partial sketch of sails, illustrating a proposed alteration to the head sails, for the Emerald class composite corvette Emerald (1876). The signature C. S. Pawlby (?) in the bottom left corner of the drawing. The plan bears the signature of Alex Moore [Master Shipwright of Devonport Dockyard 1865-1878]. A note on the drawing states the alteration is not approved as the vessels of this class are still to have a flying jib. A further note states that the sketch is not made to the correct (illegible word) of lower mast ordered 14 February 1877 9514/1351.
