Two women standing and another seated
This unsigned drawing of three women has been most doubtfully attributed to Willem van de Velde due not to style, but to the similarity in subject matter to the artist’s work for his grisailles during the 1650s. One woman on the left is seated on the ground and looking up to two others one of whom is carrying a box.
