A Dutch ship at anchor
A near view but a slight drawing of a small ship viewed before the port beam. Of the rigging and sails, only the position of the masts and mizzen yard are indicated, although there is sufficient detail to indicate two or three figures on deck.
The drawing is inscribed with a ‘K’ (for ‘turn over’); and on the reverse with ‘op een grote distansi’ (at a great distance).
