A view of a Serang and two Indian sailors on board the bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964). The photographer is standing on the centre line looking to port. The serang [referenced by the photographer as Serang Tindal] and the two sailors are sitting and standing next to an open hold hatch and looking at the photographer. There is a partial view of a third sailor in the left foreground. A building with the word 'Sheca' whist the rest is obscured by the goalpost mast, is in the background. This is Slide 21 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
