The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the roof of the superstructure looking aft and to port. Two of the Indian crewman are standing on ladders leaning against the funnel and looking at the photographer. The other two sailors and repainting various part of the funnel. This is Slide 24 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
