Two boats with men in them
A rapid sketch showing, on the left, six men in a boat, four of whom are hauling a net or possibly lobster pots. In the centre is a smaller rowing boat (apparently drawn to a different scale rather than as part of the same composition) with a single oarsman.
The drawing is inscribed in brown ink, in the lower left: ‘W.V.V J’.
