Six Indian crewman repainting No. 2 hatch on board the bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) at sea. The photographer is on standing No. 3 hatch cover on the port side looking to starboard. Four of the crewmen are kneeling down, whilst two are standing. One of the standing crewmen is looking at the photographer. A partial view of the forward goal post mast starboard side aft boom is in the background. This is Slide 35 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
