Six Indian crewman repainting No. 2 hatch on board the bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) at sea. The photographer is on standing No. 3 hatch cover on the port side looking to starboard. Four of the crewmen are kneeling down, whilst two are standing. One of the standing crewmen is looking at the photographer. A partial view of the forward goal post mast starboard side aft boom is in the background. One of the pontoon racks is also in the background. This is Slide 35 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
