A view of the Indian cook on board the bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) at sea. The name of the cook (according to the photographer's autobiography) is Bhandary. Bhandary is looking at the photographer whilst standing in front of a large metal cooking pot. This is Slide 40 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
