The bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) passing through Calebra Cut on the Panama Canal, Panama. The photographer is standing on the port side of the superstructure looking forward and slightly to port. Two of the three goalpost masts of the vessel are in the fore and middle ground. Hills on both sides of the canal bank are in the fore and middle ground. An unidentified white ship is in the middle ground on a reciprocal course. This is Slide 61 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
