A partial view of one of the Indian crewman is in the foreground at the bottom of the picture. The ensign staff, flying the Red Ensign, is also in the foreground. 5 unidentified vessels are in the middle and background off the stern of Wilkawa. This is Slide 71 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
