A distant view of the volcanic cone Diamond Head (also known locally as Le'ahi) and the city of Honolulu, Hawaii, United States taken on board the bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964). From the middle to the left hand side of the image is a partial view of the city of Honolulu with the Ko'olau mountain range in the far background. Diamond head extends from the middle to the right hand side of the image. This is Slide 80 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
