A group portrait of three Indian sailors on board the bulk carrier London Explorer (1959) at sea. The photographer is standing on the port side next to the aft goalpost mast looking aft. According to the photographer's notes, one of the sailors is named 'Tindal' but the other two are unidentified. All three sailors are looking at the photographer. The aft superstructure and funnel are in the background. The funnel has a yellow, white and blue stripe. This is Slide 6 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the bulk carrier London Explorer (1959), owned by London & Overseas Freighters Ltd. from 11 July 1972 to 16 October 1972. The series consists of 39 slides.
